We're starting a new segment today called the 'Top 3 Tracks of the Week' where we will pick 3 tracks out of all the ones we posted the during the week....DUH. Now, FCK YES! does sincerely love each and every track that we post and we do not wish to cause any kind of hurt feelings. But, this is our way of doing a recap of all the great music we've encountered. For the week of May 7th our picks are:
1 ) Robopunx - Falling Stars (WASA3I LiveUndead Version)
What can I say? I love WASA3I. Each and every one of his tracks, remixes and mixes get me hyped beyond thunderdome. He produces music that is hard and dirty all while keeping it completely danceable. I really hope that his world contamination tour gets him close to the FCK YES! headquarters. For we shall rage with such malice the dance floor will be laid to waste.
2 ) Figure Vs. The Killabits - Heavy Metal
This track is right up our alley in terms of bass, grime and just all out evilness. Heavy Metal is the type of track that makes you grit your teeth and scorn your brow while throwing your hand up in the air to show agreeance with how FCK'ing filthy the song is.
3 ) Dada Life - Rolling Stones T-Shirt (Antichrist Bootleg Remix)
I love when a seemingly 'happy' song (see Rolling Stones T-Shirt) is remixed and mashed and hardened into a stomper. Antichrist added just enough distortion and heaviness to turn this track from a nerd getting his lunch money stolen to the dude smoking ciggs in the bathroom.
