However even at the FCKYES! headquarters things need to get taken down a notch from time to time, and today I got the perfect tune for maxin your relaxin. KOAN Sound's reworking of "Green & Blue" off the upcoming Halo 4 soundtrack is the track of the week. Will Weeks and Jim Bastow, better known as KOAN Sound, have been banging their heads together since 2008 and have had HUGE success, which has opened up opportunities for more mainstream projects, like getting to do a remix for the official Halo 4 soundtrack. Their remix of Neil Davidge's "Green & Blue" keeps the funk flavor that characterizes their sound while simultaneously taking the listener on a surprisingly emotion filled journey through a relaxing aural landscape.
